Today at International School Hilversum, we were honoured to host over 65 dedicated educators from more than 30 schools across the Netherlands for a national workshop on professional learning.
The focus of the day involved key themes in education—exploring the value of professional learning associations, the application of learning strategies, and how these can be integrated into meaningful programme development.
We were especially proud to welcome Katrin Fox, Senior Manager at the IB World Schools department, from the IB Global Centre, who is leading this insightful session.
This gathering reflects a vibrant and growing professional community, with many participants representing DISS/DIPS schools (Dutch International Secondary Schools / Dutch International Primary Schools)—though we’re thrilled to have both members and non-members join us today.
Some schools in attendance were: United World College Maastricht, International School Almere, International School Eindhoven, International School Haarlem, Rotterdam International Secondary School, Amsterdam International Community School, International School Utrecht, International School Twente (IST), Eerde International Boarding School, ‘s Gravendreef College, Johan de Witt Scholengroep, Supreme College Nederland, Rivers International School Arnhem, Mgr.
